FAQ - Do I Have a Vertebral Subluxation?

The only effective way to know if you have a vertebral subluxation is through a chiropractic evaluation. However, there are some symptoms and signs that are commonly associated with a vertebral subluxation:

  • Neck pain, discomfort and stiffness.
  • Back pain, discomfort and stiffness.
  • Headache.
  • Dizziness and / or balance problems.
  • Muscle spasms in the back, tension or weakness.
  • Less spinal mobility.
  • Pain, numbness and tingling in the extremities.
  • Pain and stiffness in the joints.
  • Low energy.
  • Poor general health.
  • Little ease to heal.

Individuals who do not suffer from any of these symptoms does not mean that they are "free of subluxations".

As noted above, pain is a very poor indicator of the disease process, including the presence of subluxations.

Subluxations are similar to cavities in that the problem is highly developed before symptoms such as pain begin to occur. In the same way as your dentist, we recommend that you attend regular evaluations of your spine to detect subluxations even in the absence of pain.
